As of January 2021, Katherine Dawe Photography is moving into a Proofing Gallery Structure.

In the past, I have delivered every usable image taken during your session, sometimes this results in images that clients are not fond of, in turn there are images that may never be posted or printed. It's okay though, you don't always love ALL your images from your session! It happens, someones expression is silly, someones body language is a little off, whatever the case may be!

Editing and delivering every single image from your session, even the images you aren't fond of, results in many hours of wasted editing time on my part, time that could be spent, moving onto the next clients gallery!

Going forward you get to choose your faves! Each package comes with a set number of images, you will be given a proofing gallery with lightly edited, watermarked images to choose your favourite images from, included in your package! For example; Family Package 1 includes 15 Digital Images. We meet for your session, you get 30 minutes of shooting time, I go home, cull through and choose all of the useable images from your session, lightly edit and make a few adjustments! I will then upload about 30-40 watermarked images to your online proofing gallery, where you will go ahead and favourite your 15 images included in your package. Once you have your favourites selected, I will then fully edit and retouch each image, spending more quality time on each image, resulting in a beautifully retouched portrait for you to cherish for years to come.
